- Shedding Period: Expect natural shedding during the first few months, typically up to six months. This will lessen over time.
- Professional Cleaning: Have your rug professionally cleaned every 2-3 years by trusted experts. Ensure a pre-cleaning inspection and obtain a written receipt with a work guarantee.
- Spill Management: Address spills immediately by blotting with a clean, absorbent cloth. Ensure complete removal of cleaning agents and dry the rug thoroughly to prevent staining.
- Ventilate: Another effective way to clean a rug is to turn it upside down and beat it gently. This removes all the lose yarn & dirt drops out. Make sure you do this in an open space /outdoors.

- Measure the Maximum Length and Width: Within the outlined area, measure the maximum length and width. These measurements give you the largest possible dimensions for your shaped rug to ensure it fits within the designated space.
- How is an abstract shape rug measured? Start at the longest point of the rug and stretch the tape to the opposite end to get the maximum length.Repeat the process for the width, measuring at the widest part of the rug. These points may not be directly opposite each other.
- Consider the Shape in the Space: Amoebic rugs often have curves and irregular edges. While measuring, think about how these shapes will complement or contrast with the existing elements in your room.
